Hi I am Pheola Epps

Writing has always been one of my passions. My poetry was selected to be in the cornerstone of a new elementary school in my community while I was in high school. It has also been featured in two compilation books, and I submitted some writings for copyright as well. Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother still leaves me awe-struck.

Hi I am Jowanda Sampson

Jowanda Sampson is a comic book creator and storyteller whose work is shaped by courage, confidence, hope, and a deep love for community. Growing up in Short Pump, a rural area of Richmond, Virginia, Jowanda developed an early understanding of standing up for others, especially shy, quiet, and introverted children who often needed someone in their corner. Inspired by strong, complex characters like Catwoman, she admired the idea of using one’s skills not only to survive but also to protect and uplift others.

Through her charismatic superhero, Ms. RightOn! Jowanda brings readers a story filled with inspiration, life lessons, and heart.
